Use this BLACK X-Wing backbone adapter to replace the X-Wing backbone on your Alpha Loop antenna.Included 1 (One) Black, X-Wing backbone adapter with 5/8-11″ Female adapterTo install on post-2023 tuning boxes: Remove the 4 screws that hold the current black X-Wing backbone in place. Remove the threaded silver tripod from your current X-Wing adapter. Install the same threaded silver tripod adapter into your new X-Wing adapter. Use the 4 new screws that held the current backbone in place to install the X-Wing backbone.To install on pre-2023 tuning boxes (shown in the image below): Open the front cover of the grey tuning box. Remove the 2 nuts that hold the current backbone in place. Remove the current backbone. Shake the two screws out of the box, which may require the capacitor mounting plate to be carefully loosened & lifted. Use the 4 new screws to install the X-Wing backbone.
