The Safety Arrester is an essential safety device for overhead and vertical hinged basketball goals or other suspended sports equipment. Designed to lock instantly if a support or winch cable fails, it prevents the equipment from falling, reducing the risk of personal injury or structural damage. In normal operation, the cable extends and retracts smoothly as the unit is raised or lowered. Suitable for travel up to 6m (optional 15m version available) and loads up to 140kg, this arrester should be fitted to all overhead goals for enhanced safety.
